Just like this morning it was a Lamborghini on top of the rankings at the end of the second free practice session for the Portuguese round of the Blancpain Sprint Series. Jeroen Bleekemolen in his #28 Grasser Racing Team Lamborghini clocked a 1’44.810, which was 0.332 of a second quicker than the #2 Belgian Audi Club Team WRT Audi driven by René Rast. The German set his time in the dying minutes of the session, just like his team-mate Laurens Vanthoor, who ended up in third.
In the Silver Cup it was Luca Stolz in the #86 HTP Motorsport Mercedes who set the fastest lap around the 4,6 km Autodromo Internacional do Algarve. Stolz ended up in 10th overall. Stefan Landmann proved to be quickest in the Pro-Am Trophy, driving his #27 Grasser Racing Team Lamborghini to 13th overall.
Tomorrow track action starts at 08:45 with the Qualifying Practice. Qualifying Race is scheduled at 13:45 local time.
