Founded in 2005 By David Ashburn, Trackspeed Racing has made incredible inroads into the competitive world of sportscar racing in a very short time.
Competing in the British GT Championship in 2005 proved to a rapid learning curve for Trackspeed and their fierce ambition enabled them to become the team to watch during their first season.
This ambition was rewarded when the Team fielded a three car assault on the 2006 British GT Championship, dominating the class racking up 8 wins and 12 podiums. In 2007 the Team upped the anti and entered a car in the prestigious FIA Championship winning the Porsche Manufactures Cup.
2008 saw the team grow again and enter the FIA GT Championship contesting the highly competitive GT2 category whilst still retaining the Porsche Manufactures Cup in GT3.
2009 again saw the Team tackling the best of the best in the European Championship in GT2 and GT3 often with Porsche Manufacturer drivers at the wheel of their machinery.
In 2010 Trackspeed and David Ashburn won the British GT Driver’s Championship after a hard fought season and Trackspeed won the Teams championship.
