Both cars were delivered directly from Maserati MC (Maserati Corse ) factory to the U.S. Both competed in the Maserati Trofeo race series enjoying great success including a victory at Road America in 2015. One distinguishing characteristic of these cars is they are both fully GT4 homologated meaning they can compete in any GT4 designated race series which is quickly becoming the most popular form of sports car racing in the world. As of now some examples of professional series they would qualify to race in are; Pirelli World Challenge, IMSA, British GT, Asia GT, Australian GT, Blancpain, Competition GT4 (Europe), and the new French GT4 Championship. Identical Maserati’s won the first two races of the 2016 European GT4 series as well as runner up in the GTS class of the Pirelli World Challenge at Road America, indicating how competitive these cars are.
Both cars are in excellent shape having been maintained exceptionally well by MC factory race technicians since new. They feature Maserati’s 4,700cc V8 engine producing nearly 500hp and the electro-actuated transmission with paddle-shifters providing instantaneous response and auto-blip on the downshift. Each car has a full carbon fiber body & is fitted with brand new Pirelli P-Zero tires. They also include two extra sets of wheels, one with slicks and the other with rain tires, and the white one has the quick delivery fuel system, a $4,500 upgrade option.
A full service has just been completed on both cars including entire fluid change and top to bottom inspection. The cars are being offered with an extensive Maserati factory supplied parts package in Maserati crates that includes components for the brakes, transmission, engine, bodywork, suspension as well as a full maintenance kit in addition to the two complete sets of extra wheels. Total value for the parts is $130,000 US.
