Stef Dusseldorp and Nico Bastian are the only Pro Cup drivers in the 2015 Blancpain Endurance Series who scored points at every occasion this season. That consistency lifted the German-Dutch duo (who will be joined by Daniel Juncadella this weekend) to third in the Pro Cup, eight points behind the leaders. The ROWE Mercedes drivers want to continue that consistency and maybe take their first win of the season.
“We’re leaving for the Ring full of confidence, with our strong performance in Spa in mind”, says Stef Dusseldorp. “This track should suit the Mercedes well, but maybe it suits the Audi even better. They will be our fiercest competitors, even though we will not lose the Nissan and the Bentley out of our sights. If we manage to grab the title, than it will be thanks to our consistency all through the year, on circuits where we never really had the best car. We will try and take the fight to the Audi, without taking too many risks. Our aim is to finish and get as many points as possible.”
