Blancpain Sprint Series-rookie Craig Dolby set the fastest time during the last session before this afternoon’s qualifying. At the wheel of the #73 MRS GT Racing Nissan the 27-year old Briton lapped the Brands Hatch Grand Prix track in 1’24.558. He was closely followed by two Audi of the Belgian Audi Club Team WRT: Christopher Mies was 0.1 of a second slower, Frank Stippler 0.171. Joe Osborne took top spot in the Pro-Am category and 4th overall in the #888 Triple Eight Racing BMW, with the fastest time in the Silver Cup going to the #83 Bentley Team HTP Continental.
The session was briefly red-flagged, when Laurens Vanthoor hit the barriers in the #1 Belgian Audi Club Team WRT Audi. The car suffered severe damage at the rear.
