In front of his home crowd #28 Grasser Racing Team Lamborghini driver Jeroen Bleekemolen was quickest in the qualifying practice session, lapping the Zandvoort track in a whopping 1’36.612. Laurens Vanthoor was second in the #1 Belgian Audi Club Team WRT Audi, Peter Kox in the #88 Reiter Engineering Lamborghini will start the qualifying race from third on the grid
“I don’t know where that lap time came from”, said a happy Bleekemolen afterwards. “My Lamborghini is fantastic around here, but I think all GT3 cars are now very competitive. I am very much looking forward to the qualifying race, whether it rains or not!”
Mateusz Lisowski in the #4 Belgian Audi Club Team WRT Audi set the quickest time in Q1, which was enough to get pole position in the Silver Cup. Marc Basseng #5 Phoenix Racing Audi will start as the first of the Pro-Am drivers, in 9th overall.
