Brazilian BMW team pays tribute to Ayrton Senna

17 May 2014

In partnership with the Ayrton Senna Institute, the cars and the drivers’ helmets of BMW Sports Trophy Team Brazil at British round of the Blaincpain Sprint Series have special stickers with the phrase: ‘Ayrton Senna Always’, as a tribute to the late Brazilian champion.

The action takes place in partnership with the Ayrton Senna Institute, an organization that annually helps two million children and young people in all regions of Brazil. The Institute, founded in 1994, is a realization of the dream of Ayrton Senna, who wanted to offer development opportunities to all Brazilians.

Antonio Hermann, Team Principal of the BMW Sports Trophy Team Brasil: "We are currently the only 100% Brazilian team present in the Blancpain GT Series, the best supported and most competitive GT competition in the world. Like Senna, we are very proud to take the flag of Brazil around the world and even more proud to help promote the important educational work that is being done by the Institute Ayrton Senna."
