GPX Racing names Porsche factory trio for 2021 Endurance Cup programme

2019 Total 24 Hours of Spa winner GPX Racing has revealed its 2021 programme, with a trio of Porsche factory drivers set to contest the five-round Endurance Cup for the Dubai-based squad.

GPX made its series debut in 2019 and captured victory at the marquee race at its first attempt. Last season the team challenged for the Endurance Cup title, ultimately missing out after a thrilling finale at Circuit Paul Ricard.

There is consistency on the driver front, with both Mathieu Jaminet and Matt Campbell retained for a second season. They will be joined by newcomer Earl Bamber, whose extensive motor racing CV includes overall victory at last year's Total 24 Hours of Spa.

There will be a more signifiant change behind the scenes, with elite French outfit ART Grand Prix enlisted to support the GPX crew in 2021. ART is no stranger to the Endurance Cup paddock – it previously run a successful programme with McLaren between 2012 and 2014 – while its achievements in single-seater racing include junior titles with Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg among others.

GPX Racing has also revealed an eye-catching 'camo' livery, though its final colourscheme will be presented next month along with a new title partner for the 2021 season. The Endurance Cup kicks off at Monza over the weekend of 16-18 April.
