Ferrari stalwart Rinaldi Racing reveals 2020 plans

Rinaldi Racing has revealed a two-car line-up for this year's GT World Challenge Europe Powered by AWS campaign.

The German-based Ferrari squad will field one full-season 488 GT3 for Rinat Salikhov and David Perel, who will challenge for Silver Cup honours at all 10 events this term. The duo finished as Pro-Am runners-up in last year's Sprint championship and were part of Rinaldi's Total 24 Hours of Spa class-winning effort in 2018. Salikhov's return ensures the Russian will compete with Rinaldi for a seventh straight season.

They will be joined for the Endurance schedule by new addition Patrick Kujala, whose experience also includes a Total 24 Hours of Spa class victory. The Finn was the designated Silver driver in the Am Cup-winning Barwell Motorsports effort in 2018. Rinaldi's Silver Cup crew will carry #888 this term and have revealed a fresh livery that sees them switch from green to red (above).

The team will add a Pro-Am squad in the Endurance Cup, with Pierre Ehret and Rino Mastronardi joined by Daniel Keilwitz. Ehret is set for his fifth successive season with Rinaldi, while Mastronardi returns to the fold following a two-year absence. Keilwitz, meanwhile, is an experienced professional who was part of Rinaldi's Spa-winning crew in 2018, alongside Perel and Salikhov.

The team will join the full GT World Challenge Europe field at the series' official test days, which will take place at Circuit Paul Ricard on 12/13 March.
