#63 Grasser Lamborghini disqualified from Q2 results at Zandvoort; car set to race under appeal

The #63 Grasser Racing Lamborghini has been disqualified from Qualifying 2 at Zandvoort after its data logger was found to not have been working during the session.

The stewards of the meeting have ruled this to be a breach of article 27.6 of the 2019 Blancpain GT Series Sporting Regulations. The penalty for the infraction is disqualification from the Q2 results.

However, the competitor has elected to appeal the decision. As such, Christian Engelhart will start race 2 from fifth place under appeal.

The disqualification does not affect the car's Q1 result, where Mirko Bortolotti qualified second on the grid for this afternoon's opening race.
