RACB SPORT NATIONAL COURT OF APPEAL RULES ON R-MOTORSPORT SILVERSTONE DISQUALIFICATION

The RACB Sport National Court of Appeal has made its judgement on the case of the #76 R-Motorsport Aston Martin following the penalty applied at the Silverstone round of the Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup (20 May).

The #76 car was disqualified from the qualifying results after no data was found to be present on the data-logger. It raced under appeal and subsequently finished in first position.

The RACB Sport National Court of Appeal has upheld the decision of the stewards that a breach of article 89 of the Blancpain GT Series 2018 Sporting Regulations was committed. It further ruled that the car should be subject to a fine rather than disqualification.
