Update after 6 hours : Anything is still possible in rain-interrupted Sepang 12 Hours

The 2015 edition of the Sepang 12 hours had an eventful first half. When heavy rain interrupted the race after just over four hours of racing, the race was led by the #16 Phoenix Racing Audi. The winners of the last two editions of the Asian endurance classic, the #1 Clearwater Racing Ferrari, had already retired at that point, after contact and a double puncture caused too much damage at the car.

When the race restarted at the halfway point, five cars were still on the lead lap: the #16 Phoenix Racing Audi, the #150 Belgian Audi Club Team WRT Audi, the #17 Belgian Audi Club Team WRT Audi, the #11 Singha Motorsport Team Ferrari and the #55 FFF Racing Team by ACM McLaren.

In GTC, the polesitter #69 Team Fydis Aylezo Lamborghini was victim of a fire at the first pitstop, but the car could continue. It is sixth in class with six hours to go. The GTC is led by the other Lamborghini, the #23 Giti Topspeed Racing Lamborghini, from the #67 67Motorsport GDL Racing Porsche and the #7 Team NZ Motorsport.

In the Touring Car class the Toyota's dominate the race, with the #86 Wing Hin Motorsport GT-86 leading from the #14 GTO Racing Team car.
