SRO Motorsports Group and RS Simulation partner up

SRO Motorsports Group is pleased to confirm a new partnership with one of the global leaders in motorsport simulation, RS Simulation. With the growing success of the Blancpain GT Series and the launch of the new GT Sports Club, it was the right moment to offer all drivers a top training facility. Based in Monaco and being one of the very few simulators equipped with a GT Chassis, there could hardly have been a more suitable partner.

Not only will this facility allow the top professional drivers to chase the final tenths of a second, but it is another step that SRO Motorsports Group is taking towards improving driver safety by offering discounted rates to all our drivers and some free of charge session throughout the season to our Silver Cup youngsters. SRO Motorsports Group, RS Simulation and the Sean Edwards Foundation will all be working closely together over the course of the year to continue improving driver safety.

Based in Monaco, RS Simulation was created in 2013 when several motorsport professionals - both drivers and engineers - teamed up. Since then, the company has become one of the leaders in motorsport simulation, first in single-seaters then in touring and endurance. With over 120 modelled tracks, RS Simulation has decided to rely on a fixed platform for an enhanced feel and to favour comfort for the drivers, whether professional or amateurs. All the necessary tools have been included, such as a 200° hemispheric screen of 5 metres in diameter and a data acquisition system connected to in-house modelled vehicles, the results of which perfectly match reality. Some non-conventional functionalities also come into play such as energy regeneration management. RS Simulation’s use of different chassis, not only single-seaters but also GT cars, and sets itself apart from others, giving a better sense of immersion and live coaching.

Simon Gineys (RS Simulation Director): “RS Simulation is honoured to establish a partnership with SRO Motorsports Group and we are looking forward to starting working with teams and drivers from the Blancpain GT Series and GT Sports Club. We’re offering an efficient global concept which suits GT competitors, professional and/or amateur drivers. According to us, practising in a GT cockpit is crucial in order for the users to be put in the best conditions. We develop cars and tracks with the same objective in mind: to be accurate and realistic. Our driving simulations, whether in night time conditions, wet weather or resuming after a safety car period, are all based on that same philosophy. That meets the requirements of preparation for the Total 24 Hours of Spa for instance. We thank SRO for placing their trust in us.
