With the start of the season just around the corner, the SRO Motorsports Group is pleased to announce that several broadcasters have confirmed their coverage of this year’s Blancpain GT Series. Both the Blancpain Sprint Series and Blancpain Endurance Series will be covered worldwide. 2014 already saw a major increase in the total TV audience, which again will be in excess of 2.2 million viewers worldwide this year. Numerous web viewers increase that impressive figure during the live streaming of every Blancpain GT Series event.

In the United States and Canada, CBS Sports has renewed its agreement to the end of 2017, bringing live coverage of the Blancpain Sprint Series and highlights of the Blancpain Endurance Series. The latter can be seen live on Torque TV. With the addition of Fox Sports Latin America, broadcasting in 56 million homes of Spanish-speaking countries of Central and Latin America, and the renewal of the agreement with SporTV Brasil the TV portfolio of the Blancpain GT Series now covers the big majority of the countries on the American continent.

As announced earlier this year, the European continent will enjoy the Blancpain GT Series coverage by Pan-European broadcaster Eurosport, which will bring live coverage of the complete Blancpain Sprint Series and highlights of the Blancpain Endurance Series. Several live interventions are scheduled for the blue-ribbon event, the Total 24 Hours of Spa.

Since last year BT Sport is SRO Motorsports Group’s partner for the coverage of the Blancpain GT Series in the UK. Live coverage of the Sprint races was greatly appreciated, as were the highlight programs of the Endurance events.

Other live pan-European coverage will come from Motors TV, which will bring live coverage of all Blancpain Endurance Series races. Their coverage will be completed by an extensive build-up and several reruns of the program in the week following the event.

In 2015, Dutch broadcasters RTL 7 and Sport 1 join several other European national broadcasters in bringing extensive highlights of all Blancpain GT Series events. RTBF in Belgium has renewed the contract to bring live coverage of the Total 24 Hours of Spa, which comes in addition to the highlights of every other round of the Blancpain Sprint and Endurance Series.

Race fans in Africa can tune in to Setanta, which again will bring live broadcasts of the Sprint Series and highlights of the Endurance Series to almost 50 countries.

In addition to the broadcasts in all European and African countries and most of the American continent, there will be coverage of the Blancpain GT in the whole of the Middle East, thanks to agreements with BEIN Middle East.

Coverage is also available in most of the Asian countries, reaching out to Australia, thanks to highlight programs brought by Fox Asia, Star Sports and Eurosport Asia.

Panregional coverage will be strong with Bloomberg continuing its extensive coverage, and widely distributed motorsport programmes such as Mobil 1The Grid will feature races from both series.

Also available for each race is a huge news distribution that offers short news items from the series that are made accessible on three satellites worldwide, through the Eurovision WorldFeed services. The news content is kept available for one month on different formats (screen/web/broadcast) through the Worldlink Eurovision service. Both services reach 1,000 TV stations worldwide and all TV news agencies.

And last but not least, there is live streaming available on the official Blancpain GT Series website, www.blancpain-gt-series.com, coverage which is embedded in several other global motorsports websites.
