The German Haribo Racing Team will participate in two rounds of the 2015 Blancpain Endurance Series. The squad with the distinct golden bear on the hood will be at the start in Le Castellet and the Nürburgring, with a Mercedes SLS AMG GT3.
The Porsche with the golden bear made regular appearances during the past couple of seasons of the Blancpain Endurance Series, and the Haribo Racing Team will be back in 2015, albeit with a Mercedes SLS AMG GT3 now. The team from Bonn is getting ready to race in the 1000 km. event in Le Castellet and during the season finale at the Nürburgring. Uwe Alzen, Mike Stursberg, Norbert Siedler and Marco Holzer have been preparing the season thoroughly and have already completed several testdays with the gullwing car.
Mike Stursberg: “We are really looking forward to race with the new car. The SLS AMG was one of the best GT3 cars during recent seasons. We will compete in the VLN-races on the Nordschleife, but we wanted to be part of the ‘Champions League’ of GT3 racing as well, and that is why we will be present during two races of the Blancpain Endurance Series.”
