MRS GT-Racing launches Pro Cup attack on Blancpain GT Series with 2015 Nissan GT-R NISMO GT3

MRS GT-Racing is the latest of teams launching a full scale attack on the 2015 Blancpain GT Series. With a Nissan GT-R NISMO GT3 the German squad wants to shine in the Pro Cup with an all-professional line-up.

The single car entry for a new 2015 spec Nissan GT-R NISMO GT3 will contest both the Blancpain Endurance Series and the Blancpain Sprint Series, with 12 races across the continent including the iconic Total 24 Hours of Spa. The car will be entered in the Pro Cup, which makes it the second Nissan GT-R in the elite class. JRM will be supplying technical support and spares back-up at the circuits throughout the season.

JRM factory driver Craig Dolby has been announced as lead driver and will be joined by Sean Walkinshaw, a rapid young British driver and the latest of talented single-seater racers to switch to the booming GT racing discipline.

Craig Dolby (JRM Factory Driver): “This is exactly the kind of programme that every professional racing driver dreams of.  A great team, a great car and great races. I’m delighted to be part of it, delighted that Sean is joining the effort, and delighted too that together we’ll be able to show drivers and teams in other racing disciplines that in GT3 racing you can race competitively with the very best, with commercial opportunities, and with a clear career track for talented drivers.
