Dani Juncadella put Mercedes-AMG Team Verstappen Racing on top in Free Practice 2 at Brands Hatch. The Spanish driver posted a 1m22.932s, making him the fastest man across FP1 and FP2.
Juncadella beat the #59 Garage 59 McLaren to top spot in the second of today's 60-minute sessions. The #80 Lionspeed GP Porsche was third with Ricardo Feller at the wheel, followed by the twin Boutsen VDS Porsches. The first of these – the #10 machine, driven by Gilles Magnus – led the Gold Cup class.
A Porsche also topped the Silver Cup, with Simon Birch fastest in the #914 Razoon entry. For the second session in a row, 33 of the the 34-car field were on-track during the session. This time, the odd one out was the #66 Tresor Attempto Racing Audi, which suffered damage in FP1. However, the car is expected to be on-track for qualifying.
