Full grid for Baku World Challenge

Full grid for Baku World Challenge

The final round of the 2014 Blancpain Sprint Series is just under a month away, but it is already certain that the Baku World Challenge will have a maximum capacity grid. With the best GT teams in the world present at Baku, the Blancpain Sprint Series finale promises to deliver some exciting racing.

Apart from the Blancpain Sprint Series regulars, more than 20 of the fastest GT’s on the planet, some extra teams have decided to travel to Azerbaijan to take on the Baku World Challenge. Among them are Blancpain Endurance Series stalwarts Boutsen Ginion Racing, who will bring their McLaren MP4-12C. They will be joined by their endurance colleagues of the GT Russian Team, bringing a Mercedes SLS AMG, and the Aston Martin Vantage GT3 of Beechdean AMR.

Trackspeed from Great Britain enters a quick Porsche 997 GT3-R, just like German squad Schütz Motorsport. More German teams will be present, with Prosperia ABT racing (Audi R8 LMS ultra) and Callaway-RWT (Corvette Z06). That means that no less than nine prestigious car brands will be represented at the Baku World Challenge.
