2026 ENTRY: BMW factory drivers Weerts, Van der Linde and Pepper confirmed at Team WRT

2026 ENTRY: BMW factory drivers Weerts, Van der Linde and Pepper confirmed at Team WRT

Charles Weerts and Kelvin van der Linde will defend their Sprint Cup and GT World drivers' titles this year with Team WRT, while newly-signed BMW factory driver Jordan Pepper joins their crew for the Endurance Cup.

Weerts and Van der Linde enjoyed a sensational 2025, clinching the Sprint crown with victory at Valencia before adding the full-season GT World title with a P6 finish at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.

In Sprint, Weerts will look to be crowned champion for a fifth time in an unchanged pairing with Van der Linde, who earned his maiden series title last term.

In Endurance, they will be partnered by Jordan Pepper as Team WRT chases its first drivers' title in the long-distance series since 2014. The South African recently joined BMW's factory roster and switches from Grasser Racing, with whom he won last year's CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa

This is the second full-season Pro car confirmed by Team WRT: the Belgian squad has already announced that Valentino Rossi and Max Hesse will contest all 10 rounds aboard the #46 BMW, with Dan Harper joining for Endurance.

The team is expected to add further entries for 2026 before the  season gets underway at Circuit Paul Ricard on the weekend of 11/12 April. The opening Sprint Cup contest will take place at Brands Hatch on 2/3 May. Tickets for both of these events and others – including the CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa – are on sale now.
