Luca Stolz put Mercedes-AMG Team GetSpeed on top in Thursday's pre-event test at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya. The three-hour session featured all of the 60 cars entered in this weekend's Endurance Cup decider, which marks the final event of the 2025 GT World Challenge powered by AWS campaign.
A past winner at the Barcelona track, Stolz posted a 1m41.090s to beat the #99 Tresor Attempto Racing Audi by 0.220s. Alex Aka was second quickest overall and led the Silver Cup order, while Marvin Dienst was P3 overall and fastest in the Bronze Cup aboard the #81 Winward Racing Mercedes-AMG.
Fourth spot went to the best of the Ferrari contingent, Arthur Leclerc, who was four tenths shy of Stolz in his #50 AF Corse Francorchamps Motors 296. P5 overall went to Mikey Porter, who paced the Gold Cup in his Optimum Motorsport McLaren.
The top 10 was completed by the #10 Boutsen VDS Mercedes-AMG; the #51 AF Corse Francorchamps Motors Ferrari; the #33 Verstappen.com Racing Aston Martin; the #25 Saintéloc Racing Audi; and the #58 Garage 59 McLaren.
Track action continues tomorrow with the Bronze Test scheduled for 16:00 CEST. Saturday features Free Practice at 09:00 and Pre-Qualifying at 14:35, building up to the final day of the 2025 campaign on Sunday. Qualifying will take place at 10:25, followed by the season-deciding three-hour race at 15:00.
