Experience the CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa before the race begins
  • Plenty to see and do at the CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa between Wednesday and Friday
  • Parade, concerts, exhibitions, Fan Village, bars and restaurants, practice sessions and support races on the menu
  • As well as general admission, a special ticket is available for the practice sessions and support races on Thursday and Friday

The CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa gets underway at 16:30 on Saturday 28 June. But did you know that the show – on the track, in the paddock and in the Fan Village – begins much earlier. In fact, you can enjoy the atmosphere from as early as Wednesday.

Preparations for a 24-hour race always begin well in advance. The teams set up camp in the paddock on Sunday evening, assembling their garages and erecting the structures that will serve as their headquarters throughout the week. After Tuesday afternoon's Bronze Test (a practice session reserved for the event’s "amateur" drivers), Wednesday is Parade Day. The cars will be in Spa town centre from 18:00 to 21:00, while fans who wish to access the paddock will be able to do so during the day.

Beginning on Thursday, the Ardennes will reverberate to the sound of the GT3 cars contesting the 24 Hours, as well as competitors from the support series: the GT4 European Series, the GT2 European Series, Lamborghini Super Trofeo, and McLaren Trophy Europe. For fans – including those who are unable to attend during the weekend – Thursday and Friday present an opportunity to experience the atmosphere of the CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa, to feel the adrenaline rush, to watch cars on-track at night, and to take advantage of the event’s entertainment and exhibitions.

That's why, in addition to tickets for spectators who wish to attend the full week, the Qualifying ticket has been introduced. Granting access to the general enclosure from Wednesday to Friday, it also allows access to the paddocks.

With smaller crowds compared with the weekend, Thursday and Friday also offer a more relaxed atmosphere, with concerts that appeal to all ages. Motorsport fans will also love the Pit Walks, which allow you to stroll down the pit lane and watch mechanics working on cars. They take place between 00:45 and 01:30 on Thursday night (Friday morning) and from 22:20 until 23:20 on Friday, when there will be the added bonus of walking the track.

Music fans also have plenty to look forward to, with live performances set to take place on the paddock stage. Be 80's will begin their set at 20:50 on Thursday while Lady Cover start at 20:30 on Friday, with both nights featuring DJ sets. In addition to admiring the teams’ structures and catching up with drivers in the paddock, spectators attending on Thursday and Friday will also be able to check out the supercars and movie cars on display in the red paddock.

The Fan Village at the foot of Raidillon will be open, offering a wealth of entertainment, stalls, Casa Pirelli, the Ferris wheel, simulators, a funfair, and of course bars and restaurants. With fewer spectators on site, the queues are bound to be shorter.

On the track, there will be several key moments that you won’t want to miss. They include Qualifying for the CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa on Thursday evening (21:15–22:35) and the subsequent Night Practice (23:05), as well as Superpole on Friday at 16:10 and the first support series races. Among the highlights, we recommend the GT4 European Series night race on Friday at 21:10, which will see no fewer than 44 cars take the start at dusk and finish with headlights blazing.

As you can see, well before the start of the world's greatest GT race on Saturday 28 June at 16:30, the CrowdStrike 24 Hours of Spa will already be an event worth attending. For more information and to purchase your tickets, visit the official website www.crowdstrike24hoursofspa.com.
