The #46 Team WRT BMW has been promoted to pole position for this afternoon's Sprint Cup race at Zandvoort following penalties for the #14 Emil Frey Racing Ferrari and the #159 Garage 59 McLaren, which had qualified first and second respectively.
Giacomo Altoè (#14 Ferrari) and Benji Goethe (#159 McLaren) were found to have failed to slow sufficiently for yellow flags during the session, resulting in a three-place grid drop for both cars. This moves Maxime Martin up to pole in the #46 BMW, alongside the sister #30 entry of Calan Williams. The final grid will be published shortly.
