Iron Lynx and Iron Dames to join forces with Lamborghini Squadra Corse in 2023

Iron Lynx has announced a new global partnership with Lamborghini Squadra Corse, which includes plans to contest next year's Fanatec GT Endurance Cup with a trio of Huracán GT3 EVO II entries.

It follows the conclusion of a highly successful link-up with Ferrari which saw Iron Lynx earn overall victory at the TotalEnergies 24 Hours of Spa and the Endurance Cup drivers' title in 2021. It backed this up by finishing third at this year's 24 Hours and came within a whisker of repeating the drivers' title, missing out by just two points.

The sister Iron Dames crew enjoyed a standout 2022, highlighted by a commanding class win at the TotalEnergies 24 Hours of Spa. The all-female crew also looked set to add its class title in the Endurance Cup before a heartbreaking gearbox failure brought the #83 car to a standstill.

In 2023, Iron Lynx will establish a new and wide-ranging relationship with Lamborghini, with programmes planned in a variety of series. This will include a continuation of its Endurance Cup programme, with two cars running under the Iron Lynx banner and a third confirmed for the Iron Dames.

While the all-female entry could feature a similar driver line-up, both Iron Lynx cars will require entirely new crews, their 2022 roster having been drawn from the Ferrari factory ranks. It is likely that the team will run official Lamborghini drivers next term, having adopted the brand's traditional #19 and #63 for its cars. The Iron Dames entry will retain its familiar #83 for the coming season.

Iron Lynx will also return to Lamborghini Super Trofeo with the new Huracán Super Trofeo EVO2 in 2023. The one-make series runs the majority of its season alongside Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe Powered by AWS.

The 2023 campaign will begin with the traditional test days at Circuit Paul Ricard on 7-8 March. The Endurance Cup launches at Monza on 21-23 April, while the Sprint season gets under way at Brands Hatch on 13-14 May.
