Team Profile: RAM Racing

RAM Racing was founded in 2012 by Dan Shufflebottom, who previously worked as lead mechanic to Michael Schumacher during the German legend's time with the Mercedes Formula 1 team.

Shufflebottom took the leap into GT racing with Ferrari machinery, initially competing in the GTE ranks. A switch to Mercedes and the 24H Series followed, while the team also made its British GT debut in 2015.

In 2018 RAM entered its Mercedes-AMG GT3 in the Endurance Cup's Pro-Am class and earned its maiden win at the second time of asking thanks to Darren Burke, Euan Hankey and Salih Yoluç. For the final round of the 2018 season, Tom Onslow-Cole and Remon Vos stepped into the Endurance Cup car, while RAM ended the year by taking victory with Team Turkey at the FIA GT Nations Cup.

The pairing of Vos and Onslow-Cole continued for 2019. The partnership yielded class pole for the Total 24 Hours of Spa, as well as runner-up spot in the marquee race and the end-of-season standings. They remain on board for 2020, sporting a unique 'art car' livery created by the Czech artist Michal Skapa. The team also runs in British GT, where it has notched up several wins in recent seasons.
