Comprehensive TV and online coverage confirmed for Endurance Cup opener at Imola

This weekend's season-opening GT World Challenge Europe Powered by AWS race at Imola will enjoy comprehensive coverage on TV and across a host of online platforms.

The hotly anticipated three-hour contest kicks off the Endurance Cup campaign with a 46-car grid tackling the 4.9km Italian circuit. It launches the 10th season of competition for the long-distance championship, which will also include six-hour events at the Nurburgring (5-6 September) and Circuit Paul Ricard (13-15 November), as well as the marquee Total 24 Hours of Spa (22-25 October).

In the UK, Sky Sports F1 will have live coverage of this weekend's race. Beginning at 12:00 midday BST, the dedicated motorsport channel will air the Imola contest from start to finish, giving fans a chance to see the likes of Aston Martin, Bentley and McLaren in action.

Further TV agreements will see a combination of live coverage and highlights carried by the Motorvision platform in several countries, including France, Spain and the Netherlands. Further regional agreements will take highlights to TV screens in Belgium, Portugal and many other European nations.

Motorvision will also broadcast across the globe, with its coverage shown in Asia, Africa, Australia and the Middle-East, while additional highlights of the event will be available worldwide thanks to a variety of agreements. These include China (Star Sports), New Zealand (TV3) and South Africa (Fox Sports Africa), while the United States and Canada will enjoy highlights courtesy of CBS Sports. The full list of broadcasters can be viewed via the link at the bottom of this page.

As well as comprehensive television coverage, fans will once again have access to every racing lap of the 2020 season through free-to-view web streaming on YouTube, Motor Trend on Demand, and Motorsport.com. The same stream will be available through the official GT World Challenge Europe website and Facebook page.

There is even more action to look forward to this weekend, with every session from free practice onwards set to air via the online stream. In total, fans will enjoy seven hours of GT3 cars on-track at Imola. Coverage begins with free practice at 09.00 CST on Saturday morning, followed later in the day by pre-qualifying (13.10) and qualifying (17.30). The main event gets underway at 13.30, with the first winners of 2020 set to be decided at 16.30.
