Blancpain GT World Challenge Europe grid reaches capacity for Misano as GetSpeed Performance adds extra Mercedes-AMG

Blancpain GT World Challenge Europe will feature a capacity 28-car grid for this weekend's trip to Misano (28-30 June) following the addition of Am Cup squad GetSpeed Performance.

The German team will field a Mercedes-AMG GT3 at the second sprint-format event of the season, with Denis Remenyako and Adam Osieka set to share the #13 entry. Both drivers will be making their series debuts, though Russian-born Remenyako recently contested the Blancpain GT Sports Club support event at Circuit Paul Ricard.

The GetSpeed pairing will compete in a three-car battle for Am Cup honours, with the Mercedes-AMG going up against the Ferrari 488 of HB Racing and the Boutsen Ginion squad's Lamborghini Huracan.

The addition completes a capacity grid featuring a healthy split between the classes. Competitors will contest a pair of 60-minute sprint races at the Italian venue, which stages the second round of the championship's new era.

For 2019 grids are limited to 26 full-season cars, with additional race-by-race entries permitted up to a maximum of 28. There were 26 competitors at the season-opening Brands Hatch event, which already represented an increase on the numbers seen during last year's final Sprint Cup campaign.
